activIT systems is a steadily growing, and sustainable, IT service provider headquartered in Malaga, Western Australia, with a branch office in Devonport, Tasmania. We take care of IT and cybersecurity for small and medium business. We’ve been around since 2004, have a long list of loyal clients, and a hugely passionate team.
This role is eligible for our nine day fortnight programme (full time staff only; eligible after 6 months tenure; more info on the News page of our website), which consists of full salary, alternate Mondays or Fridays off each fortnight, and no requirement to make up time anywhere.

Our ideal candidate currently works at another MSP, and is looking for a new role because they want to:

You have a friendly disposition and thrive when helping and supporting others. You love technology and love how it makes things better, and you have a desire to help people. You’re happy visiting clients, working from the office, or working from home, and take a couple of steps extra to make sure the client is really happy.
You learn lessons from mistakes, and have a mindset of continual improvement across not only the clients you work with, but with your workplace as well. You’re not afraid to suggest better ways to perform tasks, nor ask questions on topics you’re not strong on.
The role
Within this role you’ll be taking care of a wide variety of tasks within our service desk team; it’s not a helpdesk role, but you will have tickets escalated to you from HD, and be involved in implementations, and complex changes.
Around 35% of the workload is onsite face to face work at client premises for business-as-usual tasks, like system deployments, equipment installs, software support, a bit of networking/patching. The remaining workload is a combination of remote service (across literally every facet of IT), collaboration with our projects team, or provisioning equipment on our workbench before installation.

Responsibilities include:
- Level 2 support and service for our clients; emails, calls, remote service, onsite service
- Deployment of new user accounts, new system builds, and day to day business as usual support
- Administration and implementation of Microsoft 365, and other cloud services
- Configuring and installing printers, PC’s, laptops, servers, switches, routers, network devices for clients
- Collaborate on project work under guidance of our project team.. and,
- Having your teammates backs by being reliable.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Around 3 to 5 years of experience in delivering IT service and support in a similar workplace
- Demonstrated technical aptitude – you ‘get’ how technical things work
- At least CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite administration and configuration
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A Class C drivers license and your own reliable vehicle
- A Western Australian police clearance certificate (or can obtain one)
- Operate with common sense and can problem solve issues autonomously.
- A desire to deliver superb customer service and client satisfaction!
- Maturity to work unsupervised, and take initiative
- A professional demeanour and personality, but still be fun and involved with the team around you
- Super reliability, punctuality, and desire to be part of an awesome team!
