Snapshot on our culture
We’re an IT service provider with offices in Perth, WA, and Devonport, Tasmania. We take care of IT for small and medium business, and we’ve been around for 15+ years. We’re a successful small business that has the stability and experience of large business, but with small business friendliness and people. We’re always on the look out for great people to join our team, whether just starting their career or with time under their belt already.
New as of November 2022, we have a nine day fortnight programme in place – full salary, no need to make up extra time.
We come from a diverse range of backgrounds, but we all share a passion for providing amazing customer service. We take ourselves seriously but have fun in the process; in fact that is one of our company values.
We put our people first and love building long-lasting relationships with our colleagues and our clients. Outside of the office we regularly set aside time for burgers and beers, games, and a bit of banter together.
We pride ourselves on being a flexible, family friendly organisation, with the training and development pathways on offer to help build your career. Everyone works and learns differently, and we’re cool with that.
Don’t just take our word for it – here’s what some our staff have to say:
Steven, Service Manager
“I’ve been here since 2008. I’ve moved up the ranks from the companies first employee on basic helpdesk work, and am now the WA Service Manager responsible for day to day IT service across the team. There is a strong continuous improvement culture here, and I am presented with opportunities for personal and professional growth all the time, as well as supporting my team to do the same.”
Jon, Assistant Service Manager
“I love working at activIT systems because management and staff care about me as a person and invest in my professional development. There’s a great emphasis on teamwork and shared goals focusing on helping our staff and our clients that I haven’t encountered elsewhere.” (Jon’s no longer with us, after four years of a 2.5 hour daily commute he moved a role much closer to home late in 2021, ed.)
David, IT Systems Engineer
“activIT is a great place for a career in IT, with a nurturing environment for junior technicians and a wide variety of challenges for those looking to continue their development. We’ve got a friendly team, and foster a good work-life balance. Best of all we run sensible change management practices!!”
Ash, IT Systems Engineer
“activIT really does stand head and shoulders above the competition, in office-culture, technical expertise and customer service. Steve is an ardent advocate of staff care and self-progression and these values flow right through the company and client interactions. By far the best IT job I’ve ever come across.”
Adam, IT Systems Engineer
“The flexibility here is great. Need to work from home? No problem. Need to focus on uni? No worries. As a business we’re really quick to adapt and change as needed.”
