How to make your Windows 8 computer more like Windows 7 – add a proper Start Menu!
The team here at activIT systems love Windows 8, but being the power users that we are, we really hate not having a fully functioning start menu, like in Windows 7. Fortunately there is an easy and quick way to get around this – and best of all, it is free!
On all of the Windows 8 and 8.1 systems we deploy to clients, we install Classic Shell by default, so our clients have far less of a learning curve when moving from Windows XP, Vista, or 7, to Windows 8.
