Windows 8.1 – Beginners Guide to the Modern interface

Internally within activIT systems, we’ve been using Windows 8.1 since its release in October 2014, with great success – we’ve found it to be as reliable (if not more so) than Windows 7, fast, easy to use, and generally easy to keep maintained.
Some of our clients however are not as keen on the new interface – and have been put off by it and initial negative reviews back when Windows 8.0 was released in 2012.
