Steve founded activIT systems in 2004, and over the journey has experienced the joys, demands, and occasional stresses, of owning and managing a successful small business. He is a proud Dad of a young family and loves watching the cricket and the footy.
With a mentality that we can always do something better than we’ve done it in the past, Steve strives to ensure that activIT systems provides not only great products and services to our clients in the most cost effective ways possible, but also the reassurance and reliability to clients that when they need us, we’ll be there for them.
Client Services Manager
Steven has come from an e-commerce and Internet Marketing background and has been working in the IT Industry since 2008. One of his IT passions is transitioning our clients from one system to another; he wants to make sure that the clients experience amazing customer service and a smooth transition, not just a new computer system.
Past IT experience includes mid sized companies such as Unidata Pty Ltd, through to the Water Corporation and Woodside Petroleum, on contract through CSC (Computer Services Corporation).
During his spare time, Steven loves to tinker with new IT equipment and technology, and occasionally catches up on his favourite authors, Lee Child and Matthew Reilly … on an electronic book reader of course.

Matt’s IT experience includes end user support, web design, and program/app development. His time in customer service has led to him being passionate about ensuring your experience runs as smoothly as possible, so you don’t lose sleep stressing over your computer!
When he’s not in the office, Matt and his wife are gamers at heart. Playing everything from competitive video games, fancy new board games all the way to old-school Dungeons and Dragons, and even working on making his own games for both the tabletop and the app store online.
IT Systems Engineer & Maintenance Coordinator
By day, he’s an IT Guru, by night, he’s a Gamer. When he’s not fixing computers, he’s spending time with his wife or binge watching TV shows. [What a life hey!]
Jon has been working in the IT scene for more than five years, and during that time he has had a wide involvement with different industries. With this, he has gained a wide range of experience in different types of technology that are available to help improve businesses.
Growing up, Jon has always been involved with technology and had a great passion for it. He loves the saying quoted by Steve Jobs, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do”.
IT Support Technician
Matt’s interest in IT started while he was working for a large WA based hospitality chain, when assisting with the roll out of a POS improvement project. He then moved on to an IT support position at a professional services firm before joining activIT systems.
Matt’s role at activIT systems commonly involves solving networking issues, and assisting our clients with all things IT. He is often out on the road doing on site work for clients and helping with relocation projects, and is an all-rounder within the tech team.
In his own time, Matt enjoys spending time with his kids, watching sports, going scuba diving, and staying up to date with the latest technology trends.
